Information we collect
Arka Goshala may collect information you voluntarily provide when you schedule a visit, register for a program, volunteer, donate, contact us, or join our communications. This can include your name, email address, phone number, household or party details, visit preferences, consent choices, and messages you send us.
How we use information
We use this information to manage visits and programs, send confirmations and reminders, respond to requests, provide safety and check-in information, process donations or payments, improve our sanctuary services, and meet legal or operational requirements.
Email and WhatsApp
When you opt in, we may send service messages by email or WhatsApp, including appointment reminders and responses to actions you take in a message. You can withdraw consent or ask us to stop nonessential communications at any time by contacting us.
Payments and service providers
Payment details are handled by our payment providers, such as Stripe or Zeffy, under their own privacy practices. We also use service providers for website hosting, email, analytics, scheduling, and WhatsApp Business messaging. They receive only the information needed to provide those services.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, or when necessary to protect guests, animals, our organization, or others. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here and for applicable legal, accounting, and safety obligations.
Your choices and deletion requests
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. Email arkagoshala@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may retain limited records when legally required.
